Indian NanoElectronics User Program

Indian Nanoelectronics User Program is conceived and supported by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). In the first phase the program was implemented in 2006 at IISc and IIT Bombay nanocenters with the main objective to provide access to the researchers working in the area of nanotechnology to these world class fabrication and characterization facility. After huge success of this program, and opening of MeiTy initiated nanocenters at IIT Delhi and IIT Madras in 2011 and at IIT Guwahati in 2015, it is decided to launch Indian Nanoelectronics User Program - Idea to Innovation (INUP-i2i) in 2021 to take the 'open national nanocenters' concept to next stage. In this program there will be familiarization workshop and hands-on training workshop, support to implement innovative nanotechnology projects. Apart from this, there will also be support to start-ups, incubation, prototyping and encouraging/supporting faculty of other Institutes through collaboration and mentoring program.
